Sunday was a bad day for all of us, one of the greatest comedians in our time, George Carlin, passed away. He died from heart failure at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PDT (2 a.m. British time). For those of you who haven’t heard of him let me tell you he was one of the most dedicated and influential men of the comedy stage for over 50 years and his contribution to the genre is irreplaceable and priceless.

George I salute you, may you rest in peace.

You will be missed.

For various reasons. Hopefully things will get better soon or else there has to be a change ( no I’m not talking about my marriage ). Just tired of a lot of BS flying around like self serving turds. There’s only so much more I can take of this.

One little thing about me is that once I’ve made a decision to go I just go and I don’t look back, I’m hard like a rock on this score. It may take some time before I act, I’m a very patient and kind man. Perhaps too kind but there are limits to even my patience.

I’ll give this a little more time, only a little and if things haven’t cleared up enough by then, I’m gone. I’ll let you all know what is troubling me later, depending on the outcome. I’ll give it the year out. If there’s no change by then, I’m cutting all ties to this and leave.

Me and my family just came back from one of these shows and we actually had a good time. I’m not a motor nut in any way, I barely know the one car from the other, but this thing was actually fun. The big ones, the trucks, were loud SOB’s geared up to look like Donkey Kong, Super Man, Taz and more.

The opening came to an abrupt halt since one of the trucks called Jetix made a somersault and landed on the roof so it kicked off quite nicely as you can see up above :). There were also racing with ordinary cars and motor bikes. The cars were kind of lame though, what with the trucks preceding them but the guys on the motor bikes were crazy bastards performing insane jumps and tricks while in mid- jump. Dangerously crazy but really cool

So I guess I’d recommend this show, it was a fun way to spend an afternoon and not something you see every day. Besides, the kids will love it ( if you’ve got any that is ^^ ).

Vrrm VRRM!

Everything’s been going great with my new MacBook Pro, except for the Boot Camp/Win XP installation. It ended up in me messing the system up, even though I followed through the process down to the exact detail. Luckily I had already made a back up of my important files and I also had had a little chat with another Mac user who told me he always makes a format/reinstall of every new Mac he buys since Apple have the tendency to weird things up now and then.

Well it turned out to be true in my case, after the reinstall and restoring all of my files it came to light that I had gained about 40GB’s worth of free space. Damn, that’s quite a lot of space! Dunno what used up that much space earlier but everything works even better now. There were a few small items acting up earlier like a widget for example but now everything’s nice and dandy.

It does help to remove all languages you’re probably never going to use too as well as removing the pre- installed printer drivers you won’t be needing. I did both and the languages alone used up 4.1GB(!) whereas the printer drivers used 1.2GB. 

So if you’ve bought a new Mac, consider a reinstall right away. You might gain quite a lot by doing so.



… but this computer is absolutely gorgeous! What an amazing machine! I’m in love!

Yep! My precious little MacBook Pro’s keyboard is right beneath my fingertips as I type this! YUM! It’s a really really good day today! HOOORRAAAYYY!!!

… before I can lay my hands on my new comp. Man, that’s pretty damn annoying. Beh… well it’ll be here in the end anyway.

Yesterday I placed an order for a nice and shining new MacBook Pro, 15 inch! At first I was almost in chock, it’s a lot of money going into it but now when the initial part of it has settled down a little bit I just can’t wait for it to be assembled and shipped. Beautiful!!!

Well, let’s just put it like this, I messed up. Or did I?

The plan was to install Wordpress on my other server where my Moonpig Graphics website will be hosted. I tried to install the damn thing but I only got an error message saying I should clear up my database first since the installer claimed I already had Wordpress installed on the server. So, I did that. I cleared it. Turns out my website provider can’t make separate databases for two different servers so I only ended up clearing away all my posts on my blogs instead. ******* bastard service! I’ve really got to find another damn ******* web provider, one who can separate server’s databases at least.

I am so angry now that I’m almost on the verge of going up to their place and strangle every single person working for their company.

So, anyway, that’s why it’s all empty now.
